Sadly to say he is NOT teaching gospel! His ministry is showmanship motivational sprinkled with a few scriptures taken out of context. I do understand why people are leaving because it is devoid teaching about Christ. A lot of his teaching is about him not Christ. The gospel will leave you with an understanding of Christ. Bottom line, Pastors are not supposed to gossip on the pulpit. There are members aware of who just left and “used to serve there for six years.” It’s inappropriate to be venting to the congregation about another brother/sister in Christ…. Whether he attends to or not, it creates animosity and rumors amongst the people. The righteous way would be to take your feelings to the Lord and even your spouse. Even more so, communicate with to the one you feel has done you wrong.

I think you're right on it. The song does seem like it has the right intentions or message but lacks the proclamation or as you said acknowledgment of faith in the song. I think it also depends on how conservative a person is as well. I don't want to hear curse words in christian music. I think this song is borderline. On another note, I enjoyed the GTI content as a GTI owner but as a follower of Christ, I'm just glad more younger people are proclaiming their faith and using their platforms to bring Jesus to people!
